Application guidelines

Background

The Fellowship is offered to eight women from Chin State who wish to carry out research in the following fields: agriculture​, disability,  displacement,  education, food security, gender,  health, humanitarian situation, sustainable development,  and traditional knowledge and customary laws. This programme is run by the Chin State Academic Research Network (CSARN) a project of TheHILLS Myanmar (THM). 

ဤပညာသင် အစီအစဉ်သည် ချင်းပြည်နယ်မှ အမျိုးသမီး (၈) ဦးကို စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ gender ၊ မသန်စွမ်း၊ ပညာရေး၊ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာဖူလှုံရေး၊ လူသားချင်းစာနာ ထောက်ထားမှုအခြေအနေ၊ ရွှေ့ပြောင်းနေထိုင်ခြင်း၊ ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သော ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေး၊ ကျန်းမာရေး၊ ရိုးရာ ဓလေ့ထုံးတမ်းများ နှင့် စံနှုန်းများ အစရှိသော နယ်ပယ်များတွင် သုတေသန ပြုလုပ်နိုင်ရန် ပံ့ပိုးပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဤအစီအစဉ်ကို THM ၏ စီမံကိန်း တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည့် CSARN မှ ဦးစီးဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

The general purpose of the fellowship programme is to facilitate capacity building of women in research, to contribute to the development of a new generation of women leaders in Chin State, and to promote their effective participation in community based, regional and global research, advocacy, and decision making. 

ဤအစီအစဥ်၏ ယေဘူယျရည်ရွယ်ချက်မှာ သုတေသနနယ်ပယ်များတွင် အမျိုးသမီးများ၏စွမ်းရည်မြှင့်တင်ရေး၊ ချင်းပြည်နယ်တွင် မျိုးဆက်သစ် အမျိုးသမီးခေါင်းဆောင်များ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး အထောက်အကူပြုရန်နှင့် ရပ်ရွာအခြေပြု လုပ်ငန်းများ၊ ဒေသတွင်းနှင့် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ သုတေသနများ၊ စည်းရုံးလှုံ့ဆော်မှု လုပ်ငန်းများနှင့် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ချခြင်းများတွင် ၎င်းတို့၏ ထိရောက်သော ပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်မှုကို မြှင့်တင်ရန် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

What the Research Fellowship supports

• Fellowship stipend equal to USD 2000 per fellow. တစ်ဦးချင်းစီအတွက် ငွေကြေးထောက်ပံ့မှု - USD2000 ပေးသွားမည်။

• Participate in 5 days training on research and capacity building in person and online training. သုတေသနနှင့် စွမ်းရည်မြှင့်တင်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ၅ ရက်ကြာ သင်တန်းကို ကိုယ်တိုင်တက်ရောက်ခြင်းနှင့် အွန်လိုင်းသင်တန်းများတွင် ပါဝင်ခြင်း။

• Fellows will have access to a training and mentoring programme led by regional and international facilitators. ဒေသတွင်းနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာ ကျွမ်းကျင်သုတေသီများ၏ ပို့ချချက်နှင့် လမ်းညွှန်မှုများ ရရှိမည်။

Timeline

• Application period: 12 May 2026 to 26 June 2026 (လျှောက်လွှာတင်သွင်းခြင်း သတ်မှတ် ကာလ။ ၁၂ မေလ ၂၀၂၆  မှ ၂၆  ဇွန်လ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်အထိ။

• Application evaluation and interview: July 2026  (လျှောက်လွှာများ စိစစ်ခြင်းနှင့် လူတွေ့မေးမြန်းခြင်း။ ။ ဇူလိုင်လ  ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် အတွင်း။)

• Start date: August 2026 (လုပ်ငန်းစတင်မည့် ရက်။ ။ သြဂုတ်လ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်)

• Programme  duration : 7-8 months. အစီအစဥ် ကြာမြင့်ချိန်။ ။ ၇-၈ လ သတ်မှတ်ထားသည်။

Eligibility and minimum qualification

• Between 20  - 40 years old. အသက် ၂၀ မှ ၄၀ နှစ် အထိ။

• Excellent Burmese or English.  မြန်မာစာ (သို့) အင်္ဂလိပ် ကျွမ်းကျင်စွာ ရေးတတ်၊ ဖတ်တတ်၊ ပြောတတ်ရပါမည်။

• Proficiency ( speaking and writing ) in at least one of the languages of Chin State. ချင်းပြည်နယ်ရှိ ဘာသာစကားအနည်းဆုံး တစ်မျိုးကို (ပြောဆိုခြင်းနှင့် ရေးသားခြင်း) ကျွမ်းကျင်ရမည်။

• Women from Chin State or in the surrounding region , holders of Myanmar citizenship. မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားဖြစ်သူ ချင်းပြည်နယ်မှ အမျိုးသမီးများ။

Application Assessment (လျှောက်လွှာ အကဲဖြတ်ခြင်း)

The fellowships are competitive and selection is based on: ဤပညာသင် အစီအစဉ်သည် ယှဉ်ပြိုင်လျှောက်ထားသူများအကြား အောက်ပါ အချက်များအပေါ် အခြေခံပြီး ယှဉ်ပြိုင် ရွေးချယ်သွားမှာ ဖြစ်သည်။ 

• Motivations to apply. လျှောက်လွှာတင်သွင်းရခြင်း အကြောင်းအရင်း။

• Profile/CV of the applicant. ကိုယ်ရေးအကျဉ်းချုပ်။

• Quality of the application and research proposal. လျှောက်လွှာနှင့် သုသေတန အဆိုပြုလွှာ၏ အရည်းအသွေးကောင်းမွန်မှု။

• Interview. လူတွေ့မေးမြန်းခြင်း။

• Priority is given to those in Chin State, or in the surrounding region.  ချင်းပြည်နယ် သို့မဟုတ် အနီးနားဒေသ မှ လျှောက်ထားသူများကို ဦးစားပေးသည်။

• Candidates with at least a Bachelor degree or previous experience in research/research training.. အနည်းဆုံး ဘွဲ့ဒီဂရီ သို့မဟုတ် သုတေသနလုပ်ငန်း အတွေ့အကြုံရှိသူဖြစ်ရမည်။
