Location: Remote, based in or with strong ties to Chin, Kachin, and Karen communities

We are hiring three researchers – one each from Chin State, Kachin State, and Karen State – to support qualitative data collection in their respective territories for a time bound research project. Researchers will work closely with the central project team and may collaborate with locally based enumerators to ensure high-quality, secure data collection and communication.

We are seeking an individual consultant or consultant team to conduct a focused Mental Health, Well-Being, and Gender research study in Chin State and surrounding areas. This research project aims to provide critical insights into the mental health and well-being conditions of communities in Chin State affected by humanitarian concerns with special focus on gender. The ultimate goal is to present a first baseline understanding of the context and then inform targeted interventions and support.

We are looking to contract experts who are part of our network to work on a variety of human rights and humanitarian themes related to the current situation in Chin State. We are looking for researchers who are either from Chin State, or who are from elsewhere but have carried out significant periods of research in the area. The main objective of the consultancy is to lead on production of an internal knowledge product in the form of a report.
We are seeking a Consultant to conduct a focused livelihoods assessment in Chin State and surrounding areas. This consultancy aims to provide critical insights into the economic and livelihood conditions of communities affected by humanitarian concerns with the goal of informing targeted interventions and support. The consultant will be expected to lead on design and delivery of the report. They will collaborate closely with the project team in designing data collection tools, and will collaborate with a field level research team tasked with data collection. They will be tasked with all desk research related to the report and will be required to lead on technical backstopping on livelihoods.

We are looking for a Consultant Report Writer and Editor. The person we are looking for should be either from Chin State or from elsewhere in Myanmar with a good understanding of displacement and humanitarian challenges in the region.
The main objective of the consultancy is to review three existing reports and produce one comprehensive single report in English.
